Our Skin
The skin is the largest organ of the body, with a total area of about 20 square feet. The skin protects us from microbes and the elements, helps regulate body temperature, and permits the sensations of touch, heat, and cold.
Skin has three layers:
The epidermis, the outermost layer of skin, provides a waterproof barrier and creates our skin tone.
The dermis, beneath the epidermis, contains tough connective tissue, hair follicles, and sweat glands.
The deeper subcutaneous tissue (hypodermis) is made of fat and connective tissue.
The skin’s colour is created by special cells called melanocytes, which produce the pigment melanin. Melanocytes are located in the epidermis.
Most aesthetic treatments involve adding hyaluronic acid to the skin or causing trauma which encourages collagen and elastin growth. To see the results of most treatments you need to wait at least 28 days.
Diamond Glow Hydrafacial

A Diamond Glow Facial uses a specialized device to exfoliate and infuse the skin with serums containing diamond particles. The device uses a diamond-tipped wand to gently remove dead skin cells and impurities from the skin's surface, while simultaneously delivering a customized serum to hydrate and nourish the skin. The diamond particles in the serum are said to help brighten and even out the skin tone, giving it a radiant and glowing appearance. Micro-needling
The purpose of micro-needling is to generate new collagen and skin tissue, smooth, firm and tone the skin. A pulsating head that penetrated the skin with personalised serum massaged into the skin.
Micro-needling can be performed at various depths - deeper for scar tissue and pock marks or a lighter treatment for refreshing the skin.
A variety of cocktails can be added, hyaluronic acid for plumping, vitamins for aging and nourishment and brightening serums.

The Perfect Peel
Our most effective peel is "The Perfect Peel" this is a deep peel which will cause full face peeling. There is no preparation required before the treatment. However, you will start to peel from day 3-7 so it needs to be planned in advance.
Excellent for fine lines, pigmentation, acne scars and much more.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning treatment involves gently scraping a scalpel along the surface of the skin. The sterile blade is used to gently scape off the dead skin cells in addition to removing the soft vellus facial hair. This will leave the skin smooth and fresh feeling, make-up and creams will glide on.
The treatment is superficial and will not bleed, no downtime required.
Unsuitable if you suffer from pustular acne, eczema, rosacea or active cold sores.
There two treatment options:

45 mins deluxe - cleanse, dermaplane, hydration mask, UV light therapy and hydrating cream. £45
Skin Tag - blemish Removal Cryopen or Thermolysis
Unsightly skin tags and lesions can be painlessly removed with a cryopen. The use of nitrous oxide at -89C will freeze selective areas. Great for skin tags, pigmentation, verrucas, age spots, milia and warts.
The area will be frozen which causes "frostbite" to the area so the tissue dies. This may take up to two weeks to see the final result. Several treatments may be required.
We also offer thermology which may be a more suitable option; this is perfect for removing fine facial capillaries.
Skin lesions may need to be checked by your GP prior to removal.
