The Treatment
On arrival you will complete a medical questionnaire and any relevant medical history will be discussed, this will be followed by a more in depth explanation of the treatment. The proceedure lasts approximately 45 minutes. You will have some abdominal massage during your treatment to stimulate the release of stored waste and gas. The treatment is painless and dignity is maintained throughout. Strictest medical in confidence is adhered to.
There are no special dietry requirements prior to your treatment, although it is not advisable to eat a heavy meal at least 2 hours prior to treatment and to come well hydrated.
During the treatment you will wear a hospital gown, this will ensure that you are covered throughout the treatment. All equipment is either sterile or disposable and the treatment is completely safe.
During your treatment you will be informed of the findings and recommendations to ensure optimum colon health. Herbs may be added to the water at your request to encourage removal of waste and gas, soothe or help eradicate parasites from the colon.
After your treatment you will be given an advice sheet and a high quality pro-biotic to replenish the digestive system. It is advisable to commence a course of probiotics post treatment or have a probiotic implant immediately after the treatment.
